To my sister Donna I Love You and Dell & I will see you in heaven

Denise, Doug, Melissa, Haley, and Olivia, Your father loved you with all his heart. Your father and I will be reunited, and one day, we will all embrace again in Heaven.

Keep your fathers tradition of family reunions at least once a year.

To Kym Furano, I want you to know that Dell asked me to support you, and I have always honored that. But now, I ask something of you—not for me, but for Dell’s children. They feel abandoned, both by Dell’s passing and by the distance that has grown between you and them. I know time and loss can create wounds, but if there is any way to heal them, I ask that you consider reaching out. If you have any memories of Dell—stories, photos, or keepsakes—please share them with his children. They need to feel their father’s love through you. Let forgiveness and love guide you back to them. It’s what Dell would have wanted.

Dell and I had a great and adventurous life together, and we both loved our wives and families with all our hearts. Our parents, Eddie & Twyla Furano, were the foundation of our lives, and we cherished them deeply. Their love, sacrifices, and spirit live on in all of us, and I know that one day, Dell and I will see them again in Heaven.

To Sandy’s family—Cindy, Lorelei, Freddie, and Shirley Marie—and my brothers-in-law JB, Ray, and Freddie, thank you for all the love and joy we have shared. You have been my family, my friends, and my greatest source of happiness.

My final words to you all—Life is a Beautiful Thing. Be grateful every day for the love we share and the family that binds us together. Cherish each other, lift each other up, and find joy in the smallest of moments. I have no regrets, only gratitude for a life well-lived, surrounded by the most extraordinary people.

I love you all beyond words. Until we meet again, may your hearts be full, and may love and happiness follow you always.

With all my love, forever and always,

Dave Furano
